We are looking for people who believe entrepreneurship should do more than create personal income — it should solve problems, create value, open opportunities and contribute to the progress of Africa.
Your venture does not need to be large or famous. What matters is that you have built something real, learned from the process and are willing to contribute honestly to conversations about building in Africa.

Applicants should have founded, co-founded or substantially built something tangible, such as:
An idea alone is not enough. Applicants should be able to demonstrate practical work toward building the venture they describe. Your venture does not need to be incorporated or profitable — genuine early-stage builders are welcome.

KandaNews Entrepreneur Voices is a contributor network, not paid employment. The specific terms of participation are confirmed in writing when Voices are accepted.

Participation in the KandaNews network does not guarantee publication. All editorial content remains subject to KandaNews editorial review and standards. Being an Entrepreneur Voice does not mean every product launch or announcement will be covered.

Does my business need to be registered?
No. Registration documents are welcome if you have them, but they are not required.
Does my venture need to be profitable?
No. Early-stage builders are welcome — what matters is practical progress and honest experience.
Can I apply with an idea I haven't started yet?
Not yet. An idea alone is not enough — applicants should be able to show practical work toward building their venture. We would love to hear from you once you have started building.
What counts as evidence?
A website, product link, company profile, social page, photographs, press coverage, a portfolio, or any other proof of the work you have done.
Is this paid?
No. Entrepreneur Voices is a contributor network, not employment. Terms of participation are confirmed in writing on acceptance.
Will KandaNews cover my business?
Not automatically. Participation does not guarantee publication — all editorial content goes through KandaNews editorial review and standards.
Who can apply right now?
Founders and builders based in Uganda. Opportunities for other African countries are coming soon.
